Path to Hort dels Moros
This route follows inland paths across the municipality, allowing visitors to enjoy the pine forests and natural landscape typical of this part of the island. The excursion begins at Alcúdia along Bastió de Santa Maria Street (inside the remains of the bastion is today the public school Porta del Moll). We continue parallel to the town walls towards Morer Vermell, reaching the best-preserved section known as Sant Ferran Bastion. Directly opposite is the municipal police station. Leaving the town behind, we arrive at Ca l’Anglès, where we leave the Morer Vermell path and follow Camí de l’Hort dels Moros via Tito Cittadini Street. The trail leads through pine forests, holm oaks and farmland until Mal Pas. Further ahead we reach a crossroads where we ignore the first right turn (Camí del Mal Pas) and take the second right, Camí de Muntanya, towards Coll Baix, with the Bonaire development on the left. Then we take the second path on the right, Camí de s’Alou, which climbs gently to the highest point of the route, offering an impressive panoramic view of Port d’Alcúdia. From there the route descends toward the town centre, where a right turn leads into Alcúdia. Following Jaume II Street and later Molinot Street, we return to the starting point.
